Softwalk Women's Bolivia Comfortable Adjustable Strap Sandals - Perfect for Walking, Travel & Casual Outfits

I love the comfort of these sandals. The upper part is pretty durable and the elastic in the heel strap doesn’t stretch out like some sandals. My only issue is with the bottom part. The padding wears out and starts making air squishing noises with every step after a few months. However, I like them enough that this is the second pair I’ve bought. I wore the first pair almost every day last summer and the squish became an issue in late September. And this summer’s pair made it to late August before the squish started. They last just about a full summer and that’s good enough for me to give four stars.I'm wearing these shoes for the first time today, and they are super-comfy. A great look also: somewhat more dressy than most comfort sandals, so that I can wear them to work, with skirts...but also with jeans.I wanted to write a review to make three points:1) in the photos, it appears that the back heel strap has a velcro adjustment on the strap,but this is not the case (it is a faux tab, to visually match the real velcro adjustment tabs on the other two straps. So the heel strap is not adjustable; instead it has the little piece of elastic.2) I agree with the other reviewers who recommended ordering a half-size larger, as the shoe runs small. I normally wear a size 9, but ordered a 9 1/2 in these, and they fit perfectly.3)I disagree with the reviewer who said that there was not enough arch support. I have a very high instep, and almost didn't buy these because of the perceived lack of arch support. However, I find that given the very cushiony insole and the design of the shoe (with a slight heel), my arches are supported well.These shoes are perfect for me: very comfortable, stylish, and not too dressy or too casual. They seem to be well made, too....let's see how long they last.These sandals are incredibly comfortable. I have feet that are hard to fit, with very narrow heels. These fit very well, and the body of the shoe is adjustable with velcro. They are a good neutral color for summer. I would have given 5 stars, but they are a bit on the short side. I normally wear a 9 and thought the 9.5 would give me plenty room, but my toes come all the way to the end. Fortunately, since they are open-toed sandals this is not a big problem, but if they had been closed-toed, I would have had to return them. Be sure to order at least a half size larger.The material edges cut into my feet on top and around foot. Felt like poor grade material.Might be ok for some people, but not me. I returned them.Trust me, these sandals really are comfortable. I'm a walker who grew up with feet that were always one size larger than manufacturers (until recently) thought any girl/woman should have. Consequently, my long, narrow foot developed crunched toes and bunions which make almost every shoe in the world an uncomfortable misfit after I've worn it for a while. The Softwalk Bolivia Sandal is an exception. It remains comfortable because the inner sole stays cushiony and the supportive straps can be adjusted to ease off tired feet. It gets 4 stars from me because the heel strap cannot be adjusted for a tighter fit.Nice leather sandal. Would have reordered next larger size except for Velcro that rubs uncomfortably on big toes. Don’t understand why Velcro is extended so far toward medial side of foot. The eggcrate sole was also a bit much for me.This is the second year I'm getting this sandals. They are great for walking for long period of time. My legs don't hurt and don feel tired.Last year I had very bad cause of hill spur and this sandals were excellent for me to wear.The reason I'm giving it only 4 stars that I wish they would have a real snap in the back of the shoe instead of a fake decorative one. You can't adjust it to the lens of your feet and therefore it's a little loose feel. May be they will redesign it for next year and make some other decent colors then I buy them next year again and give 5 stars..I had bruised the top of my foot by wearing tight high heel shoes and could not walk on my foot for two days. My sister had just purchased a pair of Softwalk Women's Bolvia Sandals and told me the adjustable velcro straps would fit loosely over the top of my foot. To my surprise, the inner soles of the shoes were like walking on air and foam. They were so comfortable, I could loosen thestraps and actually put weight on my foot. I wore the shoes daily for a monthuntil the swelling went down. No bed slippers or socks were needed on one footlike I would have had to have worn if it was not for the Softwalk shoes. I have since bought my own pair of shoes and they are worth every single penny!I keep them clean by spraying spot remover and then wiping them off. They dry within an hour and I can even wear them with socks when I put on my slacks. Great for walking long distances or at theme parks.
