The material over the front of the thigh is sheer so for lighter skinned people, not flattering to use on it's own. The compression is good but wish it looked better. I planned to use this as hiking pants, but now am using them as a very expensive base layer. For some reason when this was shipped to Canada the value was made around $80 more than paid, so had a higher import fee surprise. Now if I want to return I need to pay for shipping back and have a restock fee deducted.... guess I'm keeping them.
