I LOVE THIS JACKET!!! My husband wanted to be sweet and get me a new jacket. He came home with one that was over $500 marked down from $800. Um...thanks...but no! I decided to look online to find a similar one but cheaper. This one not only was $400 cheaper, but it looked MUCH better than the more expensive one and had more features like interior pockets and a better neck/hood to keep me warm. I’m 5’2” of average build, smaller than a lot of people but bigger than I normally am. I’m short but not petite or tiny and fluctuate between a size 6-10 depending on cut and style of clothing), if that makes sense (short people will understand). I started by ordering a large jacket afraid it would run small, but I am going to return it because it was huge. It was here in two days! I ordered a medium, and once again, it came in in only two days!! It is still roomy, but I leave tomorrow for my trip, hence returning the large when I get back and just ordering a completely new one. A small might be too small in the shoulders for me, but I’m broad shouldered. Not sure if it would be or not, but there’s plenty of room for layering underneath. I would suggest ordering the size you normally wear and exchange it if you need to.If you’re also short, the medium hits nicely at the hips. Not too long, but definitely not short. I was worried it would be too long and make me look disproportionate, but it’s perfect. Unless you’re heavier, I would pay attention to the height recommendation instead of the weight. I was also worried about the two lower pockets making me look huge in my hips, but that isn’t a factor either because of the black on the sides. I feel thin in this but wish I could try a small just to see if it would work better.It looks good with white or black ski pants, but my 14 year old son did tell me I look like a storm trooper in all white. Lol! Boys... Still, either would work. Or a contrasting color would look good too.I’m very excited about this jacket, all of the pockets, and hope it’ll be warm on the slopes. I’ll let you know if not, but even the velvety lining around the neck makes me think it’ll be all good. It’s an incredible jacket for the money!!!Oh, for those mommas like me who are the pack mules going down the slopes, the bottom pocket has a side opening and a top opening making it two pockets. I am VERY pleased with this jacket!Ok, so I bought this jacket to go with the "matching" snow pants. I love love love this jacket. I only gave it 4 stars because an XL should be perfect around the "girls", it is a teenie tiny itzi bitzy snug, but still very comfortable. I usually am a size L on top but a medium around the waist; big breasted. Anyhow, order a size up if you have the big puppies. If not, order what you are supposed to order. Now for the jacket; it's amazing, comfy, has all kinds of hidey pockets; for your earphones or buds, your sunglasses (these are inside the coat by the zipper on both sides), there is even a little zippered pouch along the bottom of the left sleeve, perfect for drivers license, a credit card or maybe just some chapstick. The zipper is heavy duty pvc type plastic. it has 2 zippers so when you sit down, you can unzip the bottom part of the zipper alittle for comfort. The sleeves have an extra long black insert type nylon sleeve so; kind of like the shirts you can put your thumb through but this one there is no thumb hole but it's awesome because NO cold air is getting up your sleeves. It's got a nice hood and the collar is nice and high so you have that preppy type look. As stated earlier, I also got the matching snow/ski pants (no bib) and am extremely AMAZED at both pieces for the price and the quality. It's about time we get something for a very reasonable decent price and such a wonderful quality. I got the white coat with black trim and the white snow/ski pants. I wear my black snowmobile boots and black fluffy hat when I go out and build a snowman. Have fun and enjoy. Don't be afraid or hesitant to get this beautiful coat.I was nervous after reading reviews.......but, it had so many good reviews, and the pictures were awesome, I couldn't resist buying the white jacket. I am getting a new snowmobile tomorrow, so it was perfect. I was SO happy when I opened the package. It fits PERFECTLY. I'm 5'5" and about 170 lbs...pretty proportionate...just with a big waist right now (not for long), and it is awesome. It is actually the most girly jacket I have ever had, as I usually buy men's jackets, as I don't typically care how they look, I just want to be warm. The velcro looks cheaply sewn, but it definitely works! It is just a nice clean, sharp-looking coat. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the velcro seeming to be so cheaply sewn, but other than that, I highly recommend. I got an XXL, and it is fits perfectly having a bit of a belly even. Plus, there is room for my shirt and a hoodie. I love it, and for the price, OMG. Do it! Even if it lasts one season, it's a cute coat! And I don't even like the word cute when referring to clothes!I bought this for snowmobile riding.. Let me just say this jacket is straight fire!! So warm and love that its stylish with so many pockets. Oh and for my tall girls over 5'9.....Im 6 feet tall 190 lbs. I was hesitant at the 5'9 cap but gave it a shot. The 2xx is perfect! It's long enough it covers my rear and has plenty of room for layers without feeling oversized or bulky. Only weird thing is in the picture the coat has white ends on the arms and a black stripe. Mine came black at the ends with no black stripe. I'm fine with it because white gets dirty quick. That stripe added style but not having it didn't take away from the overall awesomeness of this coat! Well see how she does on the trails. I'll update if there's anything negative.
